Der Name bedeutet \u00abDer Imam (Vorbeter) fiel in Ohnmacht\u00bb vor Entz\u00fccken, als er es zum ersten Mal aufgetischt bekam.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Traditionell werden die Auberginen in Streifen gesch\u00e4lt, so dass sie so aussehen, wie Obelix\u2019s Hose. Dann werden sie ausgeh\u00f6hlt, mit Gem\u00fcse gef\u00fcllt und im Ofen geschmort. Ein Gedicht!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Imam Bayildi kann warm mit Reis und weiteren Beilagen oder kalt als Vorspeise serviert werden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Imam Bayildi is a dish that is widespread in Turkey, Albania, Bulgaria, and Greece. The name means &#8220;The Imam (prayer leader) fainted&#8221; with delight when he was served it for the first time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Traditionally, the eggplants are peeled into strips so that they look like Obelix&#8217;s trousers. They are then hollowed out, stuffed with vegetables, and roasted in the oven. A delight!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Imam Bayildi can be served warm with rice and other side dishes or cold as a starter.<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/aub9-738x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Imam Bayildi \u2013 T\u00fcrkische gef\u00fcllte Auberginen\" class=\"wp-image-156256\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">F\u00fcr 4 Personen:<br \/>2 grosse dicke Auberginen (oder 4 mittlere Auberginen)<br \/>1 TL Salz<br \/>Oliven\u00f6l<br \/>1 Zwiebel<br \/>4 Knoblauchzehen<br \/>1 rote Peperoni (oder 2 Spitzpaprika)<br \/>2 grosse Tomaten<br \/>1 TL Kreuzk\u00fcmmelsamen<br \/>1 TL Salz<br \/>\u00bd TL Chili Flocken<br \/>\u00bd TL Pfeffer<br \/>\u00bd TL Zucker<br \/>3 EL Tomatenmark<br \/>50 ml Wasser<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die dicken Auberginen halbieren, dann jede H\u00e4lfte so Sch\u00e4len, dass sie Streifen erhalten. (mir f\u00e4llt da immer Obelix ein) Die mittelgrossen Auberginen nicht halbieren. Dann oben in der Mitte mit einem scharfen Messer einen Schlitz einschneiden und das Fleisch der Aubergine herausheben, zur Seite geben. (siehe Bild) Danach die Auberginen in mit dem einen TL Salz gesalzenen Wasser 15 Minuten einlegen. Nachher die Auberginen abgiessen und gut absp\u00fclen. <br \/>Die Zwiebel und Knoblauchzehen fein hacken, das Auberginen Fleisch, Peperoni und Tomaten klein w\u00fcrfeln. Zwiebel und Knoblauch im Oel anbraten, Kreuzk\u00fcmmel zugeben und ca. 5 Minuten braten. Das Tomatenmark zugeben und gut mischen. Das gehackte Gem\u00fcse zugeben, gut mischen, w\u00fcrzen, Wasser zugeben und auf kleinem Feuer zugedeckt 15 Minuten schmoren lassen.<br \/>Die Auberginen unterdessen abwaschen und trocken tupfen. In eine Eingefettete Gratin Form legen, mit der \u00d6ffnung nach oben. Das Gem\u00fcse da rein f\u00fcllen und Wasser in die Schale geben. <br \/>Im Ofen bei 180 C Grad ca. 60 Minuten schmoren. Man kann sie mit Nature Jogurt servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/category\/turkey-tuerkei\/\">Mehr T\u00fcrkische Rezepte &#8211; more recipes from Turkey<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Serves 4:<\/em><br \/><em>2 large thick Eggplants (or 4 medium eggplants)<\/em><br \/><em>1 tsp Salt<\/em><br \/><em>Olive Oil<\/em><br \/><em>1 Onion<\/em><br \/><em>4 cloves of Garlic<\/em><br \/><em>1 red Pepper (or 2 pointed peppers)<\/em><br \/><em>2 large Tomatoes<\/em><br \/><em>1 tsp Cumin seeds<\/em><br \/><em>1 tsp Salt<\/em><br \/><em>\u00bd tsp Chili flakes<\/em><br \/><em>\u00bd tsp Pepper<\/em><br \/><em>\u00bd tsp Sugar<\/em><br \/><em>3 tbsp Tomato Paste<\/em><br \/><em>50 ml Water<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Cut the thick eggplants in half, then peel each half so that you have strips. (Obelix always comes to mind) Do not halve the medium-sized eggplants. Then cut a slit in the top center with a sharp knife and lift out the flesh of the eggplant, set aside. (see picture) Then soak the eggplants in water salted with a teaspoon of salt for 15 minutes. Drain the eggplants and rinse well. <\/em><br \/><em>Finely chop the onion and garlic cloves and finely dice the eggplant flesh, peppers, and tomatoes. Fry the onion and garlic in the oil, add the cumin and fry for approx. 5 minutes. Add the tomato pur\u00e9e and mix well. Add the chopped vegetables, mix well, season, add water, cover and simmer over a low heat for 15 minutes.<\/em><br \/><em>Meanwhile, rinse the eggplants and pat dry. Place in a greased gratin dish with the opening facing upwards. Put the vegetables in and add water to the dish. <\/em><br \/><em>Roast in the oven at 180 C degrees for approx. 60 minutes.
