I start from the beginning and take the cheese. A Ch\u00e4s W\u00e4hie (cheese pie) is a MUST in Switzerland! \n        <br><br>\n\t\tA Ch\u00e4s W\u00e4hie (cheese pie) is a MUST in Switzerland! Pies are very traditional there anyway, there are sweet and hearty types. Often the sweet ones are a Zvieri (snack at 4pm with coffee), while the savory ones are whole meals. It is like everywhere in the world that every Swiss housewife has her own recipe, and hers is always the best! For the Ch\u00e4s W\u00e4hie, the cheese mixture is crucial.\n<br><br>\nMy mom always made it with Emmenthaler cheese, which I don&#8217;t like at all, but my dad loved it. So, I never ate this pie! Pull up edges up on all sides.
