\n My poor guests must love sweets, because these Rice Krispies and Marshmallow Easter baskets not only look cute, but they are!!!\nI searched the net for something original with Rice Krispies. At lil’luna<\/a> I found what I was looking for, but I simplified the recipe a bit and changed the amounts. I think these baskets are cute, suitable for Easter, also in color, all pastel. \n

    120 g colorful Marshmallows<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    250 g Rice Krispies<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    2 tbsp Butter<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    1 Pack (450 g) Vanilla Butter Cream Icing from Betty Crocker<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    6 Drops green Food Coloring<\/p><\/li>\n

  • <\/i>

    M&M’s in all Colors<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    or Chocolate Eggs<\/p><\/li>\n\t \n\t \n\t <\/ul>\n\n\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

    Step 1<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Put the butter and the marshmallows into a wide bowl and melt them in the microwave for 2 minutes. Even if they look like not yet melted, don’t heat them longer. Just mix them with a spoon until the marshmallows are liquid. Now mix the rice Krispies into the mass and mix well until they stick together. \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 2<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Grease a mini-muffin tray and with a teaspoon fill them with the sticky mass and flatten them.\u00a0Let the baskets dry for at least 6 hours but they will stay sticky because of the amount of sugar from the marshmallows.\u00a0\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 3<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Put the Vanilla Buttercream Icing into the bowl of the kitchen machine and wipe it up. Add the food coloring and mix well.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 4<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Put the mixture into a piping bag with a star tulle. Pipe roses onto the little rice Krispies baskets. Decorate with a M&M’s or a chocolate egg.\u00a0\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
