It is generally eaten during festivals and other special occasions. Chat\u0101nmari is now commonly eaten as a snack and is also popular with other cultures. Many restaurants in Kathmandu serve Chat\u0101nmari as an appetizer. There are also small eateries that have Chat\u0101nmari as a main dish on their menu. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>These rice patties are traded as the pizza of the Himalayan region. The filling, or rather topping, is meat and tomatoes, but also ricotta-like cheese and vegetables are used. This recipe takes part in the <a href=\"https:\/\/volkermampft.de\/tolle-rezepte-aus-nepal-die-besten-gerichte-der-nepalesischen-kueche\/\">culinary world travel Event from Volkermampft<\/a>, which travels to Nepal this month. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/12\/cha9-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Chat\u0101nmari\" class=\"wp-image-15900\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">F\u00fcr 3 St\u00fcck:<br \/><strong>Teig:<\/strong><br \/>150 g Reismehl<br \/>2 Eier<br \/>250 ml Wasser<br \/>Salz<br \/>Butter zum Braten<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Topping:<\/strong><br \/>2 H\u00fchnerbr\u00fcste<br \/>1 Zwiebel, fein gehackt<br \/>3 Knoblauchzehen, gehackt<br \/>1 EL Ingwer, gerieben<br \/>2 Fleischtomaten, gehackt<br \/>Salz und Pfeffer<br \/>Oel zum Kochen<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Das Oel in einer Flachen Pfanne erhitzen und die Zwiebel, Knoblauch und Ingwer anbraten. Das H\u00fchnerfleisch ganz klein hacken und zugeben. Die Tomaten sch\u00e4len und hacken, dann zugeben. Gut w\u00fcrzen. K\u00f6cheln lassen, bis die Tomaten zerfallen. Zur Seite geben und mit einem Deckel zudecken.<br \/>Unterdessen das Reismehl mit etwas Salz und den Eiern vermischen, nun langsam soviel Wasser zugeben, bis ein R\u00fchrteig \u00e4hnlicher Teig entsteht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Etwas Butter in einer flachen Pfanne erhitzen und einen Suppen Sch\u00f6pfl\u00f6ffel des Teiges in die Pfanne geben. Die Pfanne bewegen wie beim Cr\u00eape machen und den Teig so ausweiten. Die Pfanne zudecken, bis die Oberseite des Teiges trocken ist. Dann die F\u00fcllung darauf geben, wieder Deckel auflegen und nochmals 3 Minuten kochen. Mit Chutney servieren!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 3 pieces:<\/em><br \/><em><strong>Dough:<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em>150 g Rice Flour<\/em><br \/><em>2 Eggs<\/em><br \/><em>250 ml Water<\/em><br \/><em>Salt<\/em><br \/><em>Butter for frying<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Topping:<\/strong><\/em><br \/><em>2 Chicken Breasts<\/em><br \/><em>1 Onion, finely chopped<\/em><br \/><em>3 cloves of Garlic, chopped<\/em><br \/><em>1 tbsp Ginger, grated<\/em><br \/><em>2 Beef Tomatoes, chopped<\/em><br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><br \/><em>Oil for cooking<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Heat the oil in a flat pan and fry the onion, garlic and ginger. Chop the chicken meat very small and add it. Peel and chop the tomatoes, then add. Season well. Simmer until the tomatoes break down. Set aside and cover with a lid.<\/em><br \/><em>Meanwhile, mix the rice flour with a little salt and the eggs, now slowly add as much water until you get a dough similar to a sponge. Heat some butter in a shallow pan and put a soup ladle of the batter in the pan. Move the pan around as if making a crepe, expanding the batter as you go. Cover the pan until the top of the dough is dry. Then add the filling on top, cover again and cook for another 3 minutes.
