Er ist der gr\u00f6\u00dfte im S\u00fcsswasser lebende Barschartige Europas. Er lebt in Europa vom Stromgebiet des Rhein bis zum Ural, in Westasien in der nordwestlichen T\u00fcrkei und rund um das Kaspische Meer. Zander kommen auch im Brackwasser der gesamten Ostsee vor.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Der Zander ist beliebter Zielfisch beim Sportangeln. Er gilt als scheuer, vorsichtiger Fisch, der schwer zu \u00fcberlisten ist. Besonders grosse Exemplare \u00fcber 90 cm L\u00e4nge und 7 kg Gewicht werden extrem selten gefangen. Der gr\u00f6\u00dfte, offiziell gemessen und gewogene und in Deutschland mit der Angel gefangene Zander war 106 cm lang, 15 kg schwer und stammte aus der Donau. Zander are not, as is commonly believed, a pike and perch hybrid. It is often eaten, and it may reach 20 kg of weight, although typical catches are considerably smaller. Zander reach an average length of 40\u201380 cm with a maximum length of 120 cm.\u00a0In July 2009 in Switzerland, a zander attacked tourists in Lake Maggiore, sending two people to the emergency room; the worst cut inflicted was about 10 centimeters long. The 70-cm 8-kg fish was later caught by the local police who cooked it and offered it to the tourists for the trouble it caused. It is very unusual for zander to attack humans. Wrapped in bacon and with a tasty B\u00e9arnaise sauce it&#8217;s a favorite of all around the table!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/10\/IMG_2505-2-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"Zander mit Speck umwickelt\" class=\"wp-image-15112\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 4 Personen:<br \/>800 g Zander Filets<br \/>Speckscheiben<br \/>Salz und Pfeffer<br \/>getrockneter Dill<br \/>1 Beutel Knorr Sauce B\u00e9arnaise (oder selbstgemachte)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Zander Filets in gleich grosse St\u00fccke schneiden und mit Speck umwickeln. Eine Gratinform einfetten und die umwickelten Fischfilets rein geben. Gut w\u00fcrzen. Die Knorr B\u00e9arnaise Sauce nach Packungsanleitung zubereiten und \u00fcber die Fischfilets giessen. Im Ofen bei 200 C Grad ca 30 Minuten backen. Heiss servieren. Dazu passen gekochte Kartoffeln oder Reis.Ich habe sie mit\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2019\/05\/01\/frittierte-zwiebelringe-fried-onion-rings\/\">diesen Zwiebelringen<\/a>\u00a0serviert.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 4 Persons:<\/em><br \/><em>800 g Zander\u00a0fillets<\/em><br \/><em>Slices of Bacon<\/em><br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><br \/><em>dried Dill<\/em><br \/><em>B\u00e9arnaise Sauce from Knorr (or homemade)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Cut the Zander into same size pieces and wrap them into the bacon. Grease a gratin dish and put the fish pieces into it. Season well. Cook the B\u00e9arnaise Sauce as advised on the packaging and pour over the fish.<\/em><br \/><em>Bake in the oven at 200 C for 30 minutes. Serve hot! Best served with boiled potatoes or rice.
