In Asien ist es schwierig, Europ\u00e4ische Fr\u00fcchte zu kaufen. Wer in Hong Kong schon mal Aprikosen gekauft hat, weiss, dass die Aprikosen mehlig und geschmacklos sind. Ich habe aber einmal auf dem Markt Aprikosen und Pflaumen aus S\u00fcd-Afrika gefunden und die schmecken richtig gut, deshalb habe ich zugeschlagen! Ich liebe Konfit\u00fcren, die leichte S\u00e4ure haben, logisch ist die Aprikosenkonfit\u00fcre an erster Stelle. Pflaumen geben dem Ganzen eine wunderbare Farbe und die Vanille gibt den speziellen Kick! Was gibt es besseres, als am Morgen frisches Brot mit einer selbstgemachten Marmelade dick zu bestreichen? Mmmmmm&#8230; jetzt hab ich hunger!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In Asia, it is difficult to buy European fruit. Anyone who has ever bought apricots in Hong Kong knows that they are mealy and tasteless. However, I once found apricots and plums from South Africa at the market and they tasted really good, so I went for it! I love jams that have slight acidity, logically the apricot jam is first. Plums add a wonderful color and the vanilla gives that special kick! What could be better than spreading fresh bread thickly with a homemade jam in the morning? Mmmmmm&#8230; now I&#8217;m hungry!<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/08\/apz12-2-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Aprikosen-Pflaumen-Vanille Konfit\u00fcre\" class=\"wp-image-14711\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">F\u00fcr 8 Gl\u00e4ser:<br>1 kg Aprikosen<br>500 g Pflaumen<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">entsteinen und kleinschneiden, ergibt ca 1,4 kg Fruchtfleisch<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">1 Vanillestange ausgekratzt<br>1,3 kg Zucker<br>den Saft 1 Zitrone<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Fr\u00fcchte mit allen anderen Zutaten in einen hohen Topf geben und 30 Minuten stehen lassen. Der Zucker zerl\u00e4uft und die Fr\u00fcchte werden mariniert. Langsam aufkochen lassen und solange kochen lassen, bis die Konfit\u00fcre eindickt.&nbsp;<br>Das ist die Kochmethode meiner Mutter, damals &#8211; genauso wie jetzt hier bei uns in Asien &#8211; gabs keinen Gelierzucker und deshalb musste die Konfit\u00fcre lange kochen. Dabei muss man aufpassen, dass die Konfit\u00fcre nicht zu sehr aufsch\u00e4umt und dann \u00fcberlauft. Die Konfit\u00fcre in heiss ausgewaschene Gl\u00e4ser f\u00fcllen und gut verschliessen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/category\/jams-konfitueren\/\">Hier sind noch mehr Konfit\u00fcren Rezepte &#8211; <em>Here are more Jam recipes.&nbsp;<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 8 jars:<\/em><br><em>1 kg Apricots<\/em><br><em>500 g Plums<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>pit and cut into small pieces, yields approx. 1.4 kg fruit flesh<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>1 Vanilla Pod scraped out<\/em><br><em>1.3 kg Sugar<\/em><br><em>the Juice of 1 Lemon<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Put the fruit in a high saucepan with all the other ingredients and leave to stand for 30 minutes. The sugar will melt and the fruit will marinate. Slowly bring to the boil and simmer until the jam thickens.&nbsp;<\/em><br><em>This is my mother&#8217;s cooking method, at that time &#8211; just like now here with us in Asia &#8211; there was no preserving sugar and therefore the jam had to cook for a long time. You have to be careful that the jam doesn&#8217;t foam up too much and then overflow.
