Erst ein selbstgemachtes und dann seht Ihr noch ein gekauftes hier in Hong Kong!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Pancakes kannten wir als Kind nicht, bei uns gab es Omeletten, Cr\u00eapes, die wir f\u00fcllten. Meine Mama machte f\u00fcr uns immer welche, die wir mit <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2021\/07\/27\/suss-gefullte-omeletten-pfannkuchen-schweizerische-art-sweet-filled-omelette-the-swiss-way\/\">Konfit\u00fcre<\/a> f\u00fcllten und f\u00fcr meinen Vater mit Schinken. Aber man kann das eigentlich auch mit einem Pancake Teig machen, und das habe ich ausprobiert! Die Idee war, ein Schinken-K\u00e4se Toast nachzuahmen. Dazu eine kleine Geschichte aus dem Leben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">\u201eMami der K\u00e4se schmilzt nicht!\u201c \u201eDu musst Geduld haben und schau nicht so nahe in den Toaster, sonst brennen dir die Haare an!\u201c \u201eAber Mami, ich will den K\u00e4se geschmolzen haben!\u201c Ja, so ging es manchmal zu und her, wenn wir Schinken-K\u00e4se Toasts machten. Logisch, dass ich nachher k\u00fcrzere Fransen hatte, da angebr\u00e4uselt und der K\u00e4se im Toaster geschmolzen und in die Maschine hinein gelaufen war. Ich erspare Euch das Geschrei!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Und dann zeige ich Euch unser Sonntagsfr\u00fchst\u00fcck! Wir haben ein Dim Sum Restaurant gesucht und keines gefunden, so endeten wir in einem ganz lokalen Restaurant, wo das Essen meines Liebsten (H\u00f6rnli mit Schinken in Suppe und R\u00fchrei mit Toast) 4.50 Euro und mein Fr\u00fchst\u00fcck 2 gebratene Eier mit Schinken und Toast 4 Euro gekostet hat, dazu gab es Milchkaffe und heisses Wasser.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Today we make breakfast! First I bring you a recipe for making it yourself and then I show you a breakfast from Hong Kong. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We didn&#8217;t know pancakes as children, we had omelets and cr\u00eapes that we filled. My mum always made them for us, and we filled them with <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2021\/07\/27\/suss-gefullte-omeletten-pfannkuchen-schweizerische-art-sweet-filled-omelette-the-swiss-way\/\"><em>jam<\/em><\/a><em> and for my father with ham. But you can actually do that with a pancake batter too, and that&#8217;s what I tried! The idea was to imitate a ham and cheese toast. A little story from my life to go with it. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>&#8220;Mummy the cheese won&#8217;t melt!&#8221; &#8220;You have to be patient and don&#8217;t look so close in the toaster, or your hair will burn!&#8221; &#8220;But Mummy, I want the cheese melted!&#8221; Yes, that&#8217;s how it went sometimes when we made ham and cheese toasts. It was only logical that I had shorter fringes afterwards and the cheese had melted into the toaster. I&#8217;ll spare you the screaming!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>And then I show you our Sunday breakfast! We were looking for a dim sum restaurant and couldn&#8217;t find one, so we ended up in a very local restaurant where my sweetheart&#8217;s meal (Pasta with ham in soup and scrambled eggs with toast) cost 4.50 euros and my breakfast 2 fried eggs with ham and toast cost 4 euros, served with caf\u00e9 latte and hot water.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/ham5-1024x577.jpg\" alt=\"Schinken-K\u00e4se gef\u00fcllter Pfannkuchen\" class=\"wp-image-14547\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">F\u00fcr 4 Pancakes:<br>250 g Ricotta<br>250 g Mehl<br>1\/2 TL Backpulver<br>1\/4 TL Salz<br>180 ml Milch<br>2 Eigelb<br>2 Eiweiss<br>Butter zum Braten<br>4 Scheiben gekochter Schinken<br>4 grosse Scheiben Gouda K\u00e4se<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Den Ricotta in ein Sieb geben und 5 Minuten abtropfen lassen. Dann den Ricotta in eine Sch\u00fcssel geben, das Mehl mit dem Backpulver, das Salz und die Eigelbe zugeben. Leicht mischen, dann die Milch dazu mischen. Das Eiweiss steif schlagen und unter die Masse heben. Eine Portion des Teiges in eine heisse, gebutterte Pfanne geben und den Schinken in die Mitte geben. Den K\u00e4se, evt. gefalten darauf legen und so lange braten, bis die Masse nicht mehr fl\u00fcssig ist. Mit einem flachen L\u00f6ffel dies hochheben, eine halbe Portion des Teiges in die Pfanne geben und den ersten Teil umgekehrt darauf geben. Fertig braten lassen. Die Pancakes in Viertel schneiden und heiss servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 4 Pancakes:<\/em><br><em>250 g Ricotta<\/em><br><em>250 g Flour<\/em><br><em>1\/2 tsp Baking Powder<\/em><br><em>1\/4 tsp Salt<\/em><br><em>180 ml Milk<\/em><br><em>2 Egg -yolks<\/em><br><em>2 Egg-whites<\/em><br><em>Butter for frying<\/em><br><em>4 slices cooked Ham<\/em><br><em>4 large slices of Gouda Cheese<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Put the ricotta in a sieve and let it drain for 5 minutes. Then put the ricotta in a bowl, add the flour with the baking powder, the salt and the egg yolks. Mix lightly, then add the milk. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the mixture. Put a portion of the dough into a hot, buttered pan and place the ham in the middle. Place the cheese, folded, if necessary, on top and fry until the mixture is no longer runny. Lift this up with a flat spoon, place half a portion of the batter in the pan and place the first portion upside down on top. Leave to fry until done.
