Es gibt so viele M\u00f6glichkeiten, ein einfaches Essen besonders zu machen. Ich habe schon oft Chutneys gekocht, zB. das <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/10\/21\/tomaten-chutney-mit-aepfeln\/\">Tomaten Chutney mit \u00c4pfeln<\/a>, oder das\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2020\/03\/05\/apfel-pfirsich-chutney-apple-peach-chutney\/\">Apfel-Pfirsich Chutney<\/a>. Das geht auch mit Datteln, oder Aprikosen oder Mango.<br \/>Ich liebe diesen suess-sauren Geschmack, ich finde, er passt zu jedem BBQ und nat\u00fcrlich auch zu allen Curries. Hier bringe ich Euch ein Zwiebel Chutney, das sehr gut zu allen Grillwaren passt, oder einfach auf ein Steak, oder zu K\u00e4se! Kocht es in grossen Mengen und Ihr habt ein originelles Geschenk aus der K\u00fcche!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I love to serve all kinds of sauces, dips or chutneys with meat and cheese. There are so many possibilities to make a simple meal special. I have made some chutneys before, like the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/10\/21\/tomaten-chutney-mit-aepfeln\/\">Tomato Chutney with Apples<\/a>, or the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2020\/03\/05\/apfel-pfirsich-chutney-apple-peach-chutney\/\">Apple-Peach Chutney.<\/a> You can also make chutney with dates or mangoes.\u00a0<\/em><br \/><em>I love this sweet-sour taste, I think it fits perfectly to\u00a0barbecued\u00a0meats and of course to all the curries.\u00a0<\/em><br \/><em>I bring you an onion chutney, that goes very well with all barbecued steaks, sausages, even to chicken and to cheese! If you cook it in bigger amounts you have a wonderfully unusual gift from the kitchen!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/zwi16-1024x690.jpg\" alt=\"Zwiebel Chutney\" class=\"wp-image-13943\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 1 grosses oder 2 kleine Gl\u00e4ser:<br \/>500 g Zwiebeln, ich habe rote und weisse gemischt<br \/>2 Fleischtomaten<br \/>2 EL Oliven\u00f6l<br \/>1 EL Turmeric\/Curcuma<br \/>1 gr\u00fcne Chili, fein gehackt<br \/>1\/2 TL Salz<br \/>2 Lorbeer Bl\u00e4tter<br \/>100 ml weisser Essig (man kann auch Apfelessig nehmen)<br \/>300 g brauner Zucker<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Zwiebeln halbieren und in feine Scheiben schneiden. In einem Topf das Oliven\u00f6l erhitzen und die Zwiebeln und die gehackte Chili Schote zugeben, kurz durchbraten. Das Salz, den Zucker, die Lorbeer Bl\u00e4tter und den Turmeric zugeben. Auf kleiner Hitze bei dauerndem umr\u00fchren k\u00f6cheln lassen, bis sich der Zucker aufgel\u00f6st hat. Dann die gesch\u00e4lten und gehackten Tomaten zugeben. Nun den Essig zugeben und alles zusammen ca. 2 Stunden k\u00f6cheln lassen. Dabei immer wieder umr\u00fchren.\u00a0<br \/>An den Bildern unten seht ihr die Stufen von Anfang bis Schluss. Fertig gekocht ist das Chutney, wenn man mit der Holzkelle einen Streifen in den Topfboden machen kann, der sich nicht sofort wieder schliesst. Das bedeutet, dass alles sch\u00f6n eingedickt ist.\u00a0<br \/>Chutney sofort in saubere Gl\u00e4ser einf\u00fcllen und gut verschliessen.<br \/>Das Chutney l\u00e4sst sich unge\u00f6ffnet 6 Monate lagern, ge\u00f6ffnet sollte es aber im K\u00fchlschrank gelagert werden.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 1 big or 2 small Jars:<\/em><br \/><em>500 g Onion, I used half white and half red onion<\/em><br \/><em>2 Beef Tomatoes<\/em><br \/><em>2 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em><br \/><em>1 tbsp Turmeric<\/em><br \/><em>1 green Chili, chopped<\/em><br \/><em>1\/2 tsp Salt<\/em><br \/><em>2\u00a0Bay leaves<\/em><br \/><em>100 ml white Vinegar (you can also use Cider Vinegar)<\/em><br \/><em>300 g brown Sugar<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Cut the onion in halves and slice them finely. Heat the oil in a pot and add the onion and chopped chili, fry for a short while. Add the salt, sugar, bay leaves and turmeric. Cook on small heat until the sugar has dissolved. Then add the peeled and chopped tomatoes. Add the vinegar and let simmer for 2 hours, moving it around from time to time.\u00a0<\/em><br \/><em>You can see by my pictures how the chutney will look at each step. The liquid will reduce and thicken. The chutney is ready when you can make a line into the bottom of the pan without it closing up immediately by the liquid.\u00a0<\/em><br \/><em>Fill the chutney immediately into clean jars and close them tightly.\u00a0<\/em><br \/><em>You can store the chutney unopened for up to 6 month.
