Ich habe in meinem ganzen Leben noch nie so g\u00fcnstige Kalbshaxen gekauft, die auch noch sehr gut waren. Ich konnte meinen Augen nicht trauen, als ich die 3 grossen St\u00fccke fand, die nur umgerechnet 10 Euro kosteten. Gekocht habe ich sie im \u201eFaule Hausfrauen-Kocher\u201c gemacht, also im Slowcooker. Da die Kalbshaxen ja eh ewig kochen m\u00fcssen, bis sie fast zerfallen, ist der Slowcooker die beste L\u00f6sung. Sie sind langsam im Gem\u00fcse gekocht worden und ich habe sie mit Kartoffelbrei serviert. Lecker!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In my whole live I never ever had bought veal shanks for such a low price! And they were delicious! I could not believe my eyes, 3 big pieces for 10 $? I cooked them in the \u201elazy-housewife-cooker\u201c the Slowcooker. As veal shanks need to be cooking for a long time to get soft the Slowcooker is the easiest and best solution. They are cooked slowly in vegetables and served with mashed potatoes. <\/em><em>Delicious! <\/em><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/oss20-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Kalbshaxen aus dem Slowcooker\" class=\"wp-image-13860\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">F\u00fcr 3 Personen:<br \/>3 Kalbshaxen<br \/>2 rote Peperoni<br \/>1 Knoblauch Knolle<br \/>3 \u00c4stchen Rosmarin<br \/>Salz und Pfeffer<br \/>Chili Pulver<br \/>Paprika<br \/>Oregano<br \/>2 TL Mehl<br \/>Oliven\u00f6l<br \/>3 Sellerie Stangen mit Kraut<br \/>2 Karotten<br \/>1 rote Zwiebel<br \/>3 Fleischtomaten<br \/>300 ml Bier<br \/>50 ml Sahne<br \/>Evt. etwas St\u00e4rke<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Kalbshaxen beidseitig gut w\u00fcrzen und mit Mehl bestreuen und im heissen Oliven\u00f6l beidseitig scharf anbraten. Unterdessen die Peperoni in St\u00fccke schneiden und mit 3 Knoblauchzehen klein verhacken. Ich nehme dazu meinen Blitz. Die restlichen Knoblauchzehen sch\u00e4len und mit dem Rosmarin in den Slowcooker geben. 2 EL Oliven\u00f6l dazu geben und den Slowcooker auf LOW anheizen. Die gehackten Peperoni dazu geben und die gebratenen Kalbshaxen darauf geben.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">In der selben Pfanne, wo das Fleisch gebraten wurde, das gehackte Gem\u00fcse (ausser den Tomaten) braten. Dieses dann mit den geviertelten Tomaten \u00fcber das Fleisch geben. Das Bier dazu giessen und evt. Noch etwas Br\u00fche. Das Fleisch muss bedeckt sein, das Gem\u00fcse nicht. Den Slowcooker auf LOW einstellen und 6-7 Stunden k\u00f6cheln lassen. Die Fl\u00fcssigkeit mit ein wenig Gem\u00fcse absch\u00f6pfen und im Blender p\u00fcrieren. Dann in einen Topf geben und aufkochen. Sahne dazu geben und evt. Mit etwas St\u00e4rkemehl eindicken. Mit dem Fleisch und Kartoffelbrei servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 3 Persons:<\/em><br \/><em>3 Veal Shanks<\/em><br \/><em>2 red Capsicum<\/em><br \/><em>1 whole Garlic<\/em><br \/><em>3 sticks Rosemary<\/em><br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><br \/><em>Chili Powder<\/em><br \/><em>Paprika<\/em><br \/><em>Oregano<\/em><br \/><em>2 tsp Flour<\/em><br \/><em>Olive Oil<\/em><br \/><em>3 sticks of Celery with Greens<\/em><br \/><em>2 Carrots<\/em><br \/><em>1 red Onion<\/em><br \/><em>3 Beef Tomatoes<\/em><br \/><em>300 ml Beer<\/em><br \/><em>50 ml Cream<\/em><br \/><em>Some Cornstarch<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Season the veal shanks and sprinkle them with the flour. Then fry them on both sides in hot oil. Meanwhile cut the capsicum into pieces and chop them with 3 cloves of garlic. I do this in my Blitz. Peel the rest of the garlic cloves and add them with the rosemary to the Slowcooker, together with 2 tbsp of olive oil. Turn the Slowcooker on on LOW. Add the chopped capsicum to the Slowcooker and put the fried meat on top. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>In the same pan as you fried the meat fry now the chopped vegetables (except the tomatoes) Put them on top of the meat. Then pour the beer over them. You may need to add some broth, the meat has to be covered with liquid, the veggies not. Cook the shanks on LOW for 6-7 hours. Ladle the liquid with a little of the vegetable into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Add the cream and add some cornstarch if needed, to thicken it.
