Man muss es nur lange kochen, dann wird es butterweich und die Sauce dazu, aus dem lang gekochten Gem\u00fcse und dem Fleisch entstanden, wird absolut herrlich. Ochsenschwanz aus dem Slow-Cooker, der hilft dabei. Gerade jetzt in der kalten Jahreszeit, mag man solche Speisen! Eigentlich hatte ich den selber noch nie gekocht, aber nach der wunderbaren Kostprobe in Manila musste ich es ausprobieren. Da ich einen Crockpot \/ Slow-Cooker habe, musste der hinhalten und das Ergebnis l\u00e4sst sich sehr gut sehen (und schmecken!). Das Sch\u00f6ne am Slow-Cooker ist, dass man den friedlich k\u00f6cheln lassen kann, man hat also nicht allzu viel zu tun.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Oxtail is a delicious dish! You just have to cook it long and slow so it gets all soft and juicy and the sauce made from the meat and vegetables gets absolutely divine! Especially in the cold time of the year one likes to eat these heartwarming dishes. I had never cooked it before but after eating it in a restaurant in Manila, I had to try! I have a Crockpot\/Slow-Cooker I used it and the result was absolutely delicious! The good thing with the slow-cooker is that you can let it cook for you, slow and easy!<\/em><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image is-style-default\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/sco24-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"Ochsenschwanz aus dem Slow-Cooker\" class=\"wp-image-8652\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>F\u00fcr 4 Personen:<\/strong><br \/>ca. 1.2 kg Ochsenschwanz, in Scheiben geschnitten<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Marinade:<\/strong><br \/>2 EL Soja Sauce<br \/>2 EL Ketchup<br \/>1 Gepressten Knoblauch<br \/>Getrocknete Kr\u00e4uter wie Rosmarin, Thymian und Oregano<br \/>Chili Flocken<br \/>2 EL Brandy<br \/>1 EL Oliven\u00f6l<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>und:<\/strong><br \/>2 Zwiebeln, grob zerschnitten<br \/>4 Knoblauchzehen<br \/>4 Karotten, in St\u00fccke geschnitten<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">150 g Pilze<br \/>100 g Speckw\u00fcrfel<br \/>2 EL Oliven\u00f6l<br \/>Salz und Pfeffer<br \/>Rosmarin und Paprika<br \/>3 El Mehl<br \/>250 ml Rotwein<br \/>300 ml Bouillon<br \/>evtl. etwas Wasser, je nach Gr\u00f6sse des Kochers<br \/>2 Tl St\u00e4rkemehl<br \/>4 El Wasser<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Den Ochsenschwanz in der Marinade 30 Minuten w\u00fcrzen,\u00a0 dann mit dem Mehl bestreuen und im Oliven\u00f6l in einer Pfanne anbraten. Die Zwiebel und grob gehackten Knoblauchzehen mit den Speckw\u00fcrfeln in den Slow-Cooker geben, die Karotten und Pilze obenauf geben. Gut w\u00fcrzen. Den Rotwein dazu giessen, mit der Bouillon auff\u00fcllen, bis das Fleisch bedeckt ist und auf &#8220;Low&#8221; 6-7 Stunden kochen lassen. Den Ochsenschwanz in eine Sch\u00fcssel geben und zudecken.\u00a0<br \/>Die Sauce in einen Topf geben und evtl. nachw\u00fcrzen, dann mit der im Wasser aufgel\u00f6sten Speisest\u00e4rke eindicken. Die Sauce \u00fcber die Oxtails geben und heiss servieren. Dazu passt Kartoffelbrei, Reis und auch gebratene Kartoffeln!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>************<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>For 4 Persons:<\/em><\/strong><br \/><em>approx. 1.2 kg Oxtail, cut into slices<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Marinade:<\/em><\/strong><br \/><em>2 tbsp Soy Sauce<\/em><br \/><em>2 tbsp Ketchup<\/em><br \/><em>1 pressed Garlic<\/em><br \/><em>Dried Herbs like Rosemary, Thyme and Oregano<\/em><br \/><em>Chili Flakes<\/em><br \/><em>2 tbsp Brandy<\/em><br \/><em>1 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>and:<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>2 Onion,\u00a0roughly\u00a0cut<\/em><br \/><em>4 cloves of Garlic<\/em><br \/><em>4 Carrots, cut into chunks<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>150 g Muschrooms<\/em><br \/><em>100 g Bacon Bits<\/em><br \/><em>2 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em><br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><br \/><em>Rosemary and Paprika<\/em><br \/><em>Chili flakes<\/em><br \/><em>3 tbsp Flour<\/em><br \/><em>250 ml Red Wine<\/em><br \/><em>300 ml Bouillon\/Broth<\/em><br \/><em>maybe some additional Water<\/em><br \/><em>2 tsp Cornstarch<\/em><br \/><em>4 tbsp Water<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Marinate the oxtails in the marinade for 30 minutes and sprinkle with the flour, then fry in a flat pan in the olive oil until browned. Put the onion, chopped garlic, bacon bits into the slow-cooker and add the carrots and mushrooms, season well. Put the meat on top and add the red wine. If the meat is not covered with liquid add the broth. Set on &#8220;Low&#8221; and let cook for 6-7 hours. When cooked, take the oxtails out into a bowl and cover too keep warm. Pour the sauce into a pot and bring to a boil. Season again if needed and add the cornstarch, dissolved in the water, to thicken the sauce. Pour the sauce over the oxtails and serve hot.
