Aber das war nicht immer so! Als Kind war ich oft bei einer Tante zu Besuch, die Pferde und Schafe hatte. Im Sommer war ich die flinkste, um Kirschen und Zwetschgen vom Baum zu holen, da ich die Juengste und schlankste war. Morgens durfte ich die Pferde auf die Wiese bringen und abends wieder nach Hause, die Schafe blieben immer draussen. Eines Tages entschied die Tante, dass sie nun ein Schaf metzgen muss. Ich war nicht dabei, aber im Haus. Sie wollte nicht, dass ich es mit ansehe. Das Haus war ein altes Holzhaus und so dauerte es nicht lange, bis das ganze Haus nach Schaf, Blut, Fett und anderem roch. Grauenhaft!!! Abends kochte sie dann Lamm, oder in ihrem Fall, altes Schaf. Mir wurde uebel, nur schon vom Geruch und ich musste mich uebergeben. Ich war entschuldigt, Gott sei Dank! Ich musste erst wieder lernen, Lamm zu essen, wobei das Lamm, das wir aus New Zealand erhalten absolut tausendmal bessere Qualitaet ist, als was Tantchen auftischte.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>We love lamb! But that was not always the case! As a child I was often visiting one of my aunt\u2019s who had a little farm with horses and sheep. I was the youngest and lightest, so I had to climb trees to get the cherries and prunes. Every morning I would bring the horses out to their field and every evening I would bring them in again. The sheep would stay outside. One day auntie decided to slaughter a sheep. I was not in the room, as she didn\u2019t want me to see the mess. But as we were living in an old wooden house, soon the whole house smelled of sheep, blood, fat and more. Just horrible!!! In the evening auntie cooked lamb, or better, some of her old sheep\u2019s meat. I felt sick just from the smell and had to vomit. So, I was excused, thank God! I had to learn to eat lamb again, but the lamb we get here, imported from New Zealand, is by far a much better quality as auntie\u2019s old sheep! &nbsp;<\/em>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"849\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-849x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-159229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-849x1024.jpg 849w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-249x300.jpg 249w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-768x927.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-1273x1536.jpg 1273w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-1697x2048.jpg 1697w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/06\/spl17-360x434.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 849px) 100vw, 849px\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 4 Personen: <br \/><strong>Fuer das Lamm im Airfryer gekocht:<\/strong> <br \/>(kann aber auch auf dem Grill oder im Ofen gekocht werden) <br \/>8 Lammkoteletten <br \/>Salz und Pfeffer <br \/>Paprika <br \/>Chilipulver <br \/>Rosmarin <br \/>Frischen Thymian <br \/>Wenig Olivenoel<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Lammkoteletten mit den Gewuerzen einreiben und die frischen Kraeuter dazu geben. Im Kuehlschrank 1 Stunde marinieren lassen. Dann mit wenig Olivenoel einreiben und in den Airfryer geben. Auf 200 C Grad 10 Minuten braten, dann wenden und nochmals 5 Minuten braten.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Fuer den Reis:<\/strong> <br \/>1 Lauchstange <br \/>4 Knoblauchzehen, gerieben <br \/>2 EL Olivenoel <br \/>1 Tomate <br \/>200 g Spanischer Reis wie fuer Paella <br \/>500 ml Bruehe <br \/>2 EL Saure Sahne <br \/>Salz und Pfeffer <br \/>Paprika <br \/>Chili<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Das Oel in einem Topf erhitzen und den Lauch, ganz fein geschnitten, und die Knoblauchzehen darin weich braten, dann die gehackte Tomate dazu geben. Den Reis zugeben, kurz glasig braten, wie bei einem Risotto, dann mit der ganzen Bruehe abloeschen. Alles gut wuerzen und zugedeckt auf Kleiner Hitze ca 30 Minuten koecheln lassen. Am Ende die Saure Sahne zugeben, gut mischen und servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 4 Persons:<\/em> <br \/><strong><em>For the Lamb cooked in the Airfryer:<\/em><\/strong> <br \/><em>(it can also be grilled on the BBQ or baked in the oven)<\/em> <br \/><em>8 Lamb Chops<\/em> <br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em> <br \/><em>Paprika<\/em> <br \/><em>Chili Powder<\/em> <br \/><em>Rosemary<\/em> <br \/><em>Fresh Thyme<\/em> <br \/><em>little Olive Oil<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Rub the lamb chops with the seasoning and add the fresh thyme. Let marinate 1 hour in the fridge. Then sprinkle with some olive oil and put them into the airfryer. Cook at 200 C for 10 minutes, then turn them over and cook for another 5 minutes. <\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>For the Rice:<\/em><\/strong> <br \/><em>1 Leek<\/em> <br \/><em>4 cloves of Garlic, grated<\/em> <br \/><em>2 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em> <br \/><em>1 Tomato<\/em> <br \/><em>200 g Spanish Rice for Paella<\/em> <br \/><em>500 ml Broth<\/em> <br \/><em>2 tbsp Sour Cream<\/em> <br \/><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em> <br \/><em>Paprika<\/em> <br \/><em>Chili<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Heat the oil in a pot and fry the finely chopped leek and the garlic until soft. Then add the chopped tomato. Add the rice and let fry slightly until glazed, just like in a Risotto. Then add all the broth, season well and cover. Let simmer covered for 30 minutes, then add the sour cream and mix well.
