Diesmal habe ich mich auf ein Experiment eingelassen, den frittierten Blumenkohl danach noch in einer Tomatensauce zu wenden. Und siehe da, es schmeckte phantastisch! Ich habe indische Gewuerze zugegeben, weil die super zu Blumenkohl passen.\u00a0Ich habe danach ein wenig gegoogelt und fand, dass ein ganz aehnliches Rezept aus Nordindien stammt! Ich habe nicht schlecht gestaunt. War ich in einem frueheren Leben also doch einmal Inderin??<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Cauliflower is a vegetable that can be cooked in a thousand ways. My son loves this vegetable and so I cook it quite often. This time I tried something new, I fried the cauliflower and then cooked it in tomato sauce. And to our surprise it tasted wonderful! I added Indian spices because I think they fit so well to this vegetable. Later I googled a little and I found out, there is a very similar recipe from North India! It surprised me! Maybe I truly was an Indian woman in a former life!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/cau4-1024x770.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5946\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 4 Personen:<br \/>1 Blumenkohl, gekocht und in Roeschen geteilt<br \/>150 g Kichererbsenmehl<br \/>30 g Speisestaerke<br \/>1 Messerspitze Backpulver<br \/>1\/2 TL Salz<br \/>\u200b1 Prise Kreuzkuemmel Pulver<br \/>etwas Pfeffer<br \/>1\/2 TL Kurkuma<br \/>1 Zwiebel<br \/>2 Knoblauchzehen<br \/>200 ml Tomatensauce<br \/>1\/4 TL Chili Pulver<br \/><br \/>Das Kichererbsenmehl mit der Speisestaerke, dem Backpulver, Salz, Pfeffer und Kurkuma mischen. Soviel Wasser zugeben, dass ein dickfluessiger Teig entsteht. Alles gut vermischen. Die bissfest gekochten Blumenkohl Roeschen mit dem Teig vermischen, dann in heissem Oel ausbacken und gut abtropfen lassen.<br \/>In einer separaten Pfanne etwas Oel erhitzen, die fein gehackte Zwiebel und die fein gehackten Knoblauchzehen darin weich braten. Die Tomatensauce zugeben und gut wuerzen, das Chili Pulver auch dazu geben.<br \/>Kurz koecheln lassen, dann die frittierten Blumenkohl Roeschen dazu geben und sorgfaeltig wenden, bis sie vollstaendig von der Sauce bedeckt sind. Heiss servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 4 Persons:<br \/>1 Cauliflower, cooked and cut into florets<br \/>150 g Chickpea Flour<br \/>30 g Cornstarch<br \/>1 Pinch of Baking Powder<br \/>1\/2 tsp Salt<br \/>some Pepper<br \/>1\/2 tsp Turmeric<br \/>1 Pinch of Cumin<br \/>1 Onion<br \/>2 cloves of Garlic<br \/>200 ml Tomato Sauce<br \/>1\/4 tsp Chili Powder<br \/><br \/>Mix the chickpea flour with the cornstarch, salt, pepper and turmeric. Add as much water as needed to make it a medium thick batter. Mix well. Carefully mix the cooked\u00a0cauliflower\u00a0into the batter. Then fry it in hot oil, drain well and set aside.<br \/>In a separate pan heat some oil and fry the chopped onion and chopped garlic until soft. Add the tomato sauce and let cook shortly. Season and add the chili powder. Add the fried cauliflower and turn over carefully until it is coated all around.
