Damals erhielt man Birnen aus der Dose, man musste sie nicht selber kochen und Pudding war als Fertigpulver erhaeltlich und spaeter sogar aus der Dose. Das machte es zu einem unkomplizierten und schnellen Dessert. Da ich kein Schokoladefan bin, hasste ich diesen Pudding schon als Kind, ich habe gerne darauf verzichtet, was bei Einladungen oft zu hochgezogenen Augenbrauen fuehrte. Es ist unueblich, dass ein Kind Schokolade nicht mag!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Da ich ein Abendessen mit Highlights aus der Schweizer Kueche kochte, musste ein Schokoladepudding her, aber ein selbstgemachter und einer mit einem speziellen Geschmack. Ich habe Orange und Orangenlikoer zugegeben und das hat wunderbar gepasst. Das heisst aber nicht, dass ich jetzt Schoko-Pudding liebe, nein, aber meinen Gaesten hat es sehr geschmeckt! (Ich muss ja nicht alles mitessen!)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Chocolate Pudding is a dessert, that was very popular in Switzerland during the sixties and seventies. It would often be served with a pear. At that time, you could get pears in cans already cooked, and chocolate pudding powder to quickly cook. (or later even ready-made pudding from the can) This would make this dessert easy and quick to prepare. As a child I hated this dessert! I am not a chocolate fan and to be served so very often this pudding made me feel sick. It is unusual not to like chocolate as a child, so whenever we were invited and the host would serve chocolate pudding, I would not eat it. That raised a few eyebrows.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I made a dinner for friends with some classic Swiss dishes and of course, this dessert had to be served. But not from a ready-made powder or a can, I made it from scratch. And I gave it a delicious taste, I added oranges and an orange liqueur. Now, it doesn\u2019t mean I love chocolate pudding now, but my guests loved it! (I don\u2019t need to eat everything I cook!)<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5503\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/sch9-768x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"768\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 6-8 Portionen:<br \/>\n100 g Milchschokolade, im Wasserbad geschmolzen (man kann auch schwarze Schokolade nehmen, dann wird der Pudding etwas bitterer)<br \/>\n500 ml Milch<br \/>\nAbrieb 1 Orange<br \/>\n120 g brauner Zucker<br \/>\n8 Eigelb<br \/>\n50 g Speisestaerke<br \/>\n25 g Kakaopulver<br \/>\n25 g Butter<br \/>\n25 ml Cointreau<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Milch erwaermen, nicht zu heiss, also nicht zum Kochen bringen. Den Orangenabrieb zugeben.<br \/>\nIn einer Schuessel die Eigelbe mit dem Zucker, der Speisestaerke und dem Kakaopulver verschlagen. Dann mit einem Suppenschoepfer eine Ladung Milch dazu geben, gut vermischen, wieder eine Ladung Milch zugeben, gut verschlagen, bis alle Milch dazugemischt ist. Alles in die Pfanne zurueck giessen und auf kleiner Flamme solange koecheln, bis die Masse eindickt. Dabei immerzu vermischen mit dem Schwingbesen. Sobald es anfaengt einzudicken, sofort vom Herd nehmen und in eine Schuessel giessen. WICHTIG: das verhindert, dass die Masse weiter eindickt und klumpig wird! Nun die geschmolzene Schokolade, Cointreau und die Butter dazu mischen.<br \/>\nDen Pudding sofort in einzelne Schaelchen oder die Servierschuessel giessen und mit Klarsichtfolie bedecken, diese sollte direkt auf dem Pudding liegen. Das verhindert die die Bildung der Haut! Im Kuehlschrank bis zum Servieren lagern. Dieser Pudding kann 1 Tag im Voraus zubereitet werden, aber die Dekoration sollte erst kurz vor dem Servieren gemacht werden.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Ich habe als Dekoration Candies mit Orangengeschmack auf einem Backblech ausgelegt und im Ofen bei 180 C Grad ca 15 Minuten gekocht, so dass sie geschmolzen sind, dann habe ich sie ueber den Stiel einer Holzkelle gebogen. Auskuehlen lassen! Diese gebogenen Plaettchen habe ich spaeter in den Pudding gesteckt.<br \/>\nDazu habe ich mit einem Sparschaehler weisse Schokolade darauf gehobelt.<br \/>\nMan kann aber auch einfach geschlagene Sahne dazu geben oder eben eine pochierte Birne.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Schokolade und Orange passt wunderbar zusammen, hier findet Ihr noch andere Rezepte mit dieser Kombination.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Chocolate and Oranges are a perfect fit, here you can find other recipes with this combination.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2020\/01\/27\/orangen-pralinen-mit-kandierten-orangen-orange-pralines-with-candied-oranges\/\">Orangen Pralinen mit kandierten Orangen &#8211; Orange Pralines with candied Oranges<\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 6-8 Portions:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>100 g Milk Chocolate melted in a bain Marie (you can use dark chocolate, but the pudding will get slightly bitter)<\/em><br \/>\n<em>500 ml Milk<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Zest of 1 Orange<\/em><br \/>\n<em>120 g brown Sugar<\/em><br \/>\n<em>8 Egg-yolk<\/em><br \/>\n<em>50 g Cornstarch<\/em><br \/>\n<em>25 g Cocoa Powder<\/em><br \/>\n<em>25 g Butter<\/em><br \/>\n<em>25 ml Cointreau<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Heat the milk, but do not bring to a boil! Add the orange zest.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>In a bowl mix together the egg-yolks, sugar, cornstarch and cocoa powder, beat well. Then add a ladle of the milk to this and whisk well, add another ladle, whisk well until all the milk is mixed in. Pour everything into the pan and slowly heat up. Whisking all the time, slowly cook on small heat until it thickens. Immediately take from the heat and pour it into the bowl. IMPORTANT: You must immediately pour it into a bowl to prevent it from going on cooking. If this cooks longer than just until thickening, the pudding might get clumpy. Now add the melted chocolate, butter and the Cointreau.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Pour the pudding immediately into individual bowls or into a serving bowl and cover with cling-wrap. Make sure the cling-wrap will sit on the pudding. This will prevent the skin forming. Let chill in the fridge for a while until serving time.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>You can prepare this pudding one day ahead!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>As decoration I put some candies with orange taste onto a baking tray and melted them down in the oven at 180 C for 15 minutes. Take them out and put them over the handle of a wooden spoon to bend them slightly. Let them cool. I later just pushed them into the pudding as decoration.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>I used a peeler to shave some white chocolate onto the dark surface of the pudding.<\/em><br \/>\n<em>You can also just serve whipped cream with them or even a poached pear.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5504\"
