Es sind die besten Kartoffeln, die ich je gegessen habe! Aber es ist nicht ganz so einfach, das Enten- oder Gaensefett hier zu erhalten. Dieses Jahr, kurz vor Weihnachten, fand ich es!!! Total begeistert bin ich damit nach Hause und habe die Kartoffeln gebacken!!! Voila!<br \/>\nDiese Kartoffeln sind wunderbar zu Gebratenem, in England werden sie traditionel an Weihnachten zum Turkey serviert. Ich liebe sie das ganze Jahr ueber!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>I love roast potatoes! My best potatoes ever I had during my time living in England, since then I never had those potatoes again. Our friend served them with turkey for Christmas!\u00a0 Here in Asia it is not easy to find the Goose-fat\/Duck-fat, but shortly before Christmas I was able to find one glass. I went home and immediately cooked the potatoes. So many memories&#8230;..<\/em><br \/>\n<em>The roast potatoes fit very well to all kind of roasts, chicken, goose, turkey; mmmm I&#8217;m in heaven!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-5417\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/roa11-1024x683.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1024\" height=\"683\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer 4 Personen:<br \/>\n1 kg Kartoffeln<br \/>\n3 EL Gaense- oder Entenfett<br \/>\nMeersalz<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Kartoffeln schaelen und in grosse Wuerfel schneiden. In siedendem Salzwasser 7-9 Minuten kochen, abgiessen und in den Topf zurueck geben. Diesen nun leicht schuetteln, damit die Kanten der Kartoffeln aufgeraut aussehen.<br \/>\nDen Ofen auf 220 C Grad aufheitzen. Das Gaensefett in eine grosse Auflaufform geben und in den Ofen geben, bis das Fett zerlaufen ist.<br \/>\nSobald das Fett heiss ist, die Kartoffeln in die Auflaufform geben, kurz durchschwenken und nun 20 Minuten auf 200 C Grad backen, dann bnochmals schuetteln und nochmals 20 Minuten backen. Je laenger sie im Ofen sind, desto dunkler werden sie. Mit Meersalz bestreuen und heiss servieren.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">*************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For 4 persons:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>1 kg Potatoes<\/em><br \/>\n<em>3 tbsp Goose or Duck-fat<\/em><br \/>\n<em>Sea-salt<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Peel the potatoes and cut them into cubes. Boil them in salted water for 7-9 Minutes. Drain and put them back into the pan. Now shake the pan a few times to fluff up the outsides. <\/em><br \/>\n<em>Preheat the oven to 220 C. Put the goose-fat into an ovenproof wide dish and put the dish into the oven to melt the fat. Now add the potatoes to the ovenproof dish, shake to coat the potatoes with the fat and bake at 200 C for 20 minutes, shake again and bake another 20 minutes. The longer you roast them the darker they get.
