Es wird seit Jahrhunderten gekocht!\u00a0In der Schweiz wird es nicht nur als Dessert gereicht, sondern auch zur Hauptspeise. So zum Beispiel sind &#8220;Hoernli mit Oepfelmues&#8221; ein Traditionsgericht.\u00a0Meine Schwiegereltern haben einen Garten mit dutzenden von Fruchtbaeumen. Letztes Jahr haben wir Aepfel geerntet und daraus Apfelsaft gemacht. Daraus habe ich dann einen <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/10\/13\/apfelgelee-mit-sprutz-schnapps-apple-jelly-with-booze\/\">Apfelgelee<\/a> gemacht, der im Nu weggegessen war! Man kann aber auch aus diesen Aepfeln einfach eine <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/09\/12\/apfel-konfituere-apple-jam\/\">Apfelkonfituere machen, hier gehts lang zu meiner<\/a>.\u00a0Meine Schwiegermama hat meist aus den kleinen, ungespritzten &#8211; und deshalb oft auch Wurmstichigen &#8211; Aepfel, Apfelmus gemacht und dieses eingefrohren. Stundenlang hat sie Apfelmus gekocht, denn es wurde sehr oft aufgetischt, zum Beispiel zu Teigwaren, Kartoffelbrei, Wuersten, oder mit Sahne verfeinert als Dessert.\u00a0Hier zeige ich Euch, wie einfach es ist!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>There is probably nothing more traditional in Switzerland than Apple Puree\/Apple Sauce! It&#8217;s been cooked for centuries! In Switzerland Apple Puree is not only being served as dessert, but also with the main dish. A very traditional dish is &#8220;Hoernli mit Oepfelmues&#8221; (Pasta with Apple Puree). My in-laws have a garden with dozens of fruit trees.\u00a0Last year we made apple juice with some of these apples and with this juice I made a<a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/10\/13\/apfelgelee-mit-sprutz-schnapps-apple-jelly-with-booze\/\"> jelly with them<\/a>. But you can also just make a <a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/09\/12\/apfel-konfituere-apple-jam\/\">simple jam<\/a> with these apples.\u00a0My mother-in-law used the smaller and mostly wormy &#8211; because they don&#8217;t spray the fruits &#8211; for apple puree and froze it. She used to be cooking it all day long, so many apples they had. She used to serve it very often with pasta, mashed potatoes, sausages or mixed with whipped cream as a dessert.\u00a0Here I show you how easy it is!<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-4050\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/10\/apf12-683x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"683\" height=\"1024\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Fuer ca 5 Portionen:<br \/>\n2 kg Aepfel, Kerngehaeuse entfernt<br \/>\n100 ml Wasser<br \/>\n100 g Zucker<br \/>\n1 1\/2 Zitronen. der Saft<br \/>\n1 EL Zimt<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Die Aepfel klein schneiden, Kerngehaeuse entfernen. Die Stuecke mit dem Zitronensaft uebergiessen. Ich schaele sie nicht, da sie ungespritzt sind.\u00a0Das Wasser mit dem Zucker und Zimt aufkochen, dann die Apfelstuecke zugeben. Zugedeckt auf kleiner Hitze ca 15 Minuten koecheln lassen. Die Apfel sollten jetzt schon ziemlich zerfallen sein, falls nicht, nochmals 5-10 Minuten laenger kochen. Nun entweder mit dem Stabmixer oder dem Passe-Vite die Aepfel puerieren. In\u00a0Tupperware oder Glaeser abfuellen und einfrieren, falls man es nicht gleich braucht.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Tips:<br \/>\n&#8211; Apfelmus mit geschlagener Sahne mischen und als Dessert servieren.<br \/>\n&#8211; Apfelmus als Fuellung fuer Streuselkuchen benuetzen.<br \/>\n&#8211; Apfelmus in Eiswuerfelbehaelter einfrieren und den Kindern an heissen Tagen als Lutscher servieren.<br \/>\n&#8211; oder serviert es ganz traditionell zu Pasta und Kartoffelbrei!!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">************<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>For approx. 5 Portions:<\/em><br \/>\n<em>2 kg Apples, cores removed<\/em><br \/>\n<em>100 ml Water<\/em><br \/>\n<em>100 g Sugar<\/em><br \/>\n<em>1 1\/2 Lemons, the juice<\/em><br \/>\n<em>1 tbsp Cinnamon<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em>Cut the apples into small pieces, remove the cores. Pour the lemon juice over them. I don&#8217;t peel them! Bring the water with the sugar and cinnamon to a boil, reduce the heat, add the apples and let cook for 15 minutes.
