\nBacon jam is versatile. Of course, jam belongs on bread\u2014among other things\u2014but it also belongs IN bread, or in puff pastry, on finger food, etc. There are many possible uses.\n

    1 Onion<\/p><\/li>\n\t

    3 Garlic cloves<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    100 ml Cider Vinegar<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    8 tbsp brown Sugar<\/p><\/li>\n

  • <\/i>

    4 tbsp Honey<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    170 ml strong Coffee<\/p><\/li>\n\t \n\t \n\t <\/ul>\n\n\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

    Step 1<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Place the bacon slices on a baking sheet and roast in the oven at 220\u00b0C for about 20 minutes. \n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 2<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Put the rendered bacon fat in a pot and cook the finely chopped onion and garlic cloves until soft. \n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 3<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Chop the bacon slices into small pieces and add them to the pot with all the other ingredients. Simmer the jam over low heat for about 3-4 hours until the liquid has almost completely boiled away. \n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Place all ingredients in a blender\/mixer and pur\u00e9e briefly. It may still be slightly chunky. Immediately pour into clean jars and seal. \n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n
