Ich liebe Corn Tortillas, serviert mit einer selbstgemachten Guacamole ist das einfach super. Aber noch viel besser sind diese Chips, wenn man sie uebebackt! Da gibt es ganz viele Moeglichkeiten! Hier in Asien kriegt man die schon fast ueberall, meist mit viel Chili. Ich habe sie mit viel Kaese, Tomaten und Auberginen gebacken, da ich den Kuehlschrank leeren muss, es geht schon wieder auf Reisen. Ich mochte sie sehr – logisch, ich bin ja Auberginoholic – und mein Liebster hat sich drauf gestuerzt!<\/p>\n

I love corn tortillas! Served with a homemade guacamole… yummy! But even better are the baked corn chips! There are so many different possibilities! Here in Asia you can get them almost everywhere, but most often with lots of chili. I used lots of cheese, tomatoes and eggplants. I had to empty the fridge as we are travelling again. I loved them – of course, as I am an auberginoholic – and my hubby, he went almost crazy!<\/em><\/p>\n

Fuer 4 Personen:
\n1 Tuete Mais Tortilla Chips
\n200 g geriebener Kaese
\n2 Tomaten
\n1 Aubergine
\netwas Oel
\nSalz und Pfeffer
\nPaprika
\nChiliflocken (oder Scheiben von frischen gruenen Chilies)<\/p>\n

Die Aubergine in kleine Wuerfel schneiden und im heissen Oel braun braten. Eine Gratinschale ausbuttern und die Chips rein geben. Mit den Gewuerzen bestreuen. Die Haelfte des Reibkaese darueber streuen. Die Tomate in kleine Wuerfel schneiden und die Haelfte darueber geben. Die Haelfte der Auberginen darueber verteilen, dann wieder eine Lage Kaese, dann Tomate, dann Aubergine. Evt nochmals wuerzen, wer Chilischeiben hat, diese darueber streuen. Die Chips im Ofen bei 200 C Grad ca 15-20 Minuten ueberbacken. Heiss servieren!<\/p>\n

For 4 Persons:<\/em>
\n1 bag Corn Tortilla Chips<\/em>
\n200 g grated Cheese<\/em>
\n2 Tomatoes<\/em>
\n1 Eggplant<\/em>
\nsome Oil<\/em>
\nSalt and Pepper<\/em>
\nPaprika<\/em>
\nChili Flakes (or slices of fresh green Chilies)<\/em><\/p>\n

Dice the eggplant into small dices and fry them in hot oil. Grease a gratin dish and add the chips. Season well. Sprinkle half of the cheese onto them. Dice the tomatoes and sprinkle half onto the cheese.\u00a0 Now add half of the eggplant. Then a layer of cheese again, a layer of tomatoes and eggplant. You might like to season again or add the sliced chilies.\u00a0 Bake in the oven at 200 C for 15-20 minutes. Serve hot!\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
