Es ist Winter und man braucht ein paar Vitamine. Deshalb passt dieser Orange, Mango and Spinach Salad auf jeden Tisch. Zitrusfruechte haben viele Vitamine, sorgen auch dazu, dass man nicht zu krank wird. Mangos uebrigens auch. Und Spinat hat viel Eisen, was auch nicht falsch ist.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So dachte ich mir, ich mache einen Salat mit den typischen Winterzutaten, Spinat und Orangen. Damit er nicht zu bitter wird, habe ich Mango und etwas Eisbergsalat zugegeben.
Der Salat hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt, er war einfach mal etwas anders, als die Ueblichen. Ich habe den Salat mit einer Vinaigrette gemischt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s Winter and everyone needs to have some vitamins. That’s why this salad is perfect. Citrus fruits have a lot of vitamins and help to get rid or to prevent colds. Mangoes too! And spinach has a lot of iron, which we need too. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

I thought, why not make a wintry salad with the typical winter vegetables and fruits like spinach and oranges. I added mango and iceberg lettuce to make it less bitter.<\/em>
Everyone loved the salad, it was something different than the usual lettuce. I mixed the salad with a simple vinaigrette.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuer 4 Personen:
100 g frischer Spinat
100 g Eisbergsalat
2 Blutorangen
1 Orange
2 halbreife Mangoes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinaigrette:
6 EL Olivenoel
4 EL Zitronensaft
1 EL Balsamico Essig
1\/2 TL Gemischte Italienische Kraeuter
Salz und Pfeffer<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Den Spinat waschen und gut abtropfen lassen, die Stiele entfernen.
Den Eisberg waschen und duenn aufschneiden.
Die Orangen filettieren. Die Mango schaehlen und in kleine Stuecke schneiden.
Alles zusammen mischen.
Die Zutaten fuer die Vinaigrette in ein Glas fuellen, das Glas verschliessen und gut schuetteln.
Die Sauce ueber den Salat Giessen und de Salat sorgfaeltig mischen.
Sofort servieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For 4 Persons:<\/em>
100 g fresh Spinach<\/em>
100 g Iceberg Lettuce<\/em>
2 Blood Oranges<\/em>
1 Orange<\/em>
2 semi ripe Mangoes<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinaigrette:<\/em>
6 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em>
4 tbsp Lemon Juice<\/em>
1 tbsp Balsamic  Vinegar<\/em>
1\/2 tsp mixed Italian Herbs<\/em>
Salt and Pepper<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wash the spinach ad let it dry properly. Remove the stems.<\/em>
Wash the iceberg lettuce and chop it.<\/em>
Cut the oranges into fillets, dice the mangoes.<\/em>
Mix everything together.<\/em>
Add all ingredients of the vinaigrette into a jar and shake well.<\/em>
Pour the sauce over the salad and mix carefully.<\/em>
Serve immediately!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n
