Dazu eignet sich Lamm sehr gut und auch eine feine Polenta passt da wunderbar, so mache ich Lammvoressen mit Polenta. Leider vergisst man ganz gerne, dass man mit Mais sehr viel kochen kann. Ich liebe ihn und mache alles Moegliche mit ihm. In diesem Rezept ist er ganz einfach nur als Polenta gekocht, da das Fleisch mit der Sauce den ganzen Geschmack&nbsp; ausmacht. Das Fleisch ist aus dem SlowCooker, aber man kann es auch im Ofen langsam koecheln lassen. Ein Sonntagsmahl fuer einen kalten Wintertag!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Especially in Winter one likes to eat a hearty meal. Lamb is perfect for this and served with Polenta, corn grits, it is absolutely delicious. Sadly, corn gets often forgotten, but you can do so many different things with it. I like to cook and bake with it! This recipe is simple for the polenta, as it is easy to cook. I didn\u2019t want to make a big fuss with the corn, as the lamb and the sauce are very tasty by themselves. I cooked the lamb in the SlowCooker, but if you don\u2019t have one you can also cook the meat in the oven at low temperature. Dann in den SlowCooker geben. Das Gemuese, Zwiebel und den Knoblauch dazu geben und mit dem Bier abloeschen.<br>Den SlowCooker auf LOW 4 Stunden koecheln lassen. Falls die Fleischstuecke dick sind, erst 1.5 Stunden auf HIGH kochen, dann auf LOW schalten.<br>Unterdessen die Polenta nach Packungsanleitung kochen. Eigentlich ist es ganz einfach, aber man muss dabei bleiben und dauernd umruehren, da sie gerne spuckt. Wer sie einfach koecheln laesst, muss nachher die Kueche putzen!<br>Nach der abgelaufenen Kochzeit, das Fleisch aus dem SlowCooker schoepfen und zur Seite geben. Die Kochfluessigkeit in einen kleinen Topf Giessen und mit etwas Staerkemehl und Sahne zu einer cremigen Sauce einkochen.<br>Das Lamm mit der Sauce auf die Polenta geben und servieren, dazu habe ich junge, geroestete Karotten serviert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>For 4 Persons:<\/em><br><em>1 kg Lamb for Lamb Stew, cut into pieces<\/em><br><em>2 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em><br><em>1 red Onion, sliced<\/em><br><em>3 cloves of Garlic<\/em><br><em>1\/3 Celery, diced<\/em><br><em>2 Carrots, diced<\/em><br><em>1 can (330 ml) of Beer<\/em><br><em>Some Cornstarch<\/em><br><em>Whipping Cream to taste<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Marinade:<\/em><br><em>2 tbsp Mustard<\/em><br><em>1 tbsp Soy Sauce<\/em><br><em>1 Spritzer Worcestershire Sauce<\/em><br><em>3 tbsp Olive Oil<\/em><br><em>1 tbsp Pesto<\/em><br><em>\u00bd tsp dried Thyme<\/em><br><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><br><em>Chili Powder<\/em><br><em>Paprika<\/em><br><em>3 cloves of Garlic, chopped<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Mix all ingredients together and marinate the meat for 30 minutes.<\/em><br><em>Heat 2 tbsp olive oil in a flat pan and fry the marinated meat in it. Pour it into the SlowCooker. Add the vegetables, onion and garlic cloves and pour the beer over it.<\/em><br><em>Put the SlowCooker on HIGH and cook for 4 hours. If the meat pieces are thick, cook first for 1.5 hours on HIGH, then turn to LOW.<\/em><br><em>Meanwhile cook the Polenta as advised on the packaging. It\u2019s easy but you need to stay with it and stir it all the time. Polenta left alone will spit and you need to clean your kitchen afterwards!<\/em><br><em>After the 4 hours cooking time take the meat out of the SlowCooker. Pour the cooking liquid into a small pot and thicken the sauce with a little cornstarch and some whipping cream to taste.Serve the lamb with the sauce on top of the Polenta!
