Im Supermarkt gibt&#8217;s das nicht, der Huehnerhaendler hat auch keine, aber ein kleiner Marktstand hat sie. Das ist bis jetzt der einzige Laden, in dem ich frische Huehnerleber gefunden habe.<br>Und wenn ich die schon mal finde, dann wird auch gleich eingekauft, deshalb gab&#8217;s dann auch eben dieses Pate!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>I looooooooove Pate!<br>That&#8217;s why I made some again.<br>It&#8217;s not easy to get chicken liver here. You don&#8217;t get it in the supermarket, you also don&#8217;t get it at the chicken sellers, but I found one small market stall, that has it, fresh from the slaughtered chicken. That&#8217;s the only one I found until now.\u00a0<br>And of course, if I find some, I buy a lot, so I could make this pate!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"644\" src=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-1024x644.jpg\" alt=\"Chicken Liver Pate with Port Jelly\" class=\"wp-image-163380\" srcset=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-1024x644.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-300x189.jpg 300w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-768x483.jpg 768w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-1536x966.jpg 1536w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-2048x1289.jpg 2048w, https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/11\/pate14-360x226.jpg 360w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Fuer das Pate: (ergibt eine Keksform von ca 20 cm Laenge oder 2 ca 15 cm Durchmesser Souffle Formen)<br>40 g Butter<br>2 Knoblauchzehen, gepresst<br>1 kleine Zwiebel, fein gehackt<br>8 Lorbeerblaetter<br>600 g Huehnerleber<br>100 ml Portwein<br>300 g Butter, kalt!<br>Salz und Pfeffer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/11\/22\/portwein-gelee-port-wine-jelly\/\">1\/2 Glas Port Wein Gelee<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Die 40 g Butter, Knoblauchzehen, Zwiebel und Lorbeerblaetter in einer Bratpfanne weich braten. Die kleingeschnittene Huehnerleber zugeben und unter wenden ca 3 Minute mitbraten. Danach den Portwein zugeben, gut wuerzen und nochmals 2-3 Minuten koecheln lassen.<br>Die Lorbeerblaetter entfernen, den Rest in einen Blender\/Mixer fuellen, die in Stuecke geschnittene kalte Butter zugeben und alles gut puerieren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Nun gibt es zwei Moeglichkeiten!<br>Man kann das Pate in einer Cakeform machen, das sieht sehr schoen aus, doch da muss man erst den aufgewaermten Gelee eingiessen und kalt stellen, bis er fest ist. Erst danach kann das Pate darauf gekippt werden! Wenn man dann das Pate wie einen Kuchen aus der Form kippt, ist der Gelee wieder oben, das sieht sehr schoen aus!<br>Oder man kann erst das Pate in eine Souffle Form giessen und nachdem es abgekuehlt ist, den Gelee darauf giessen.<br>In Klarsichtfolie verpacken und im Kuehlschrank mindestens 4 Stunden kalt stellen.<br>Das Pate schmeckt herrlich zu Cracker, Baguette oder Toastbrot!<br>En Guete!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">Tip:<br>Das Jelly hilft als Versieglung, um das Pate frisch zu halten. Verpackt das angebrauchte Pate sehr gut in Frischhaltefolie, so kann es bis zu 7 Tage frischgehalten werden. Wenn das Pate lange ungekuehlt ist, laeuft es dunkel an, diese Teile sollte man entfernen und wegwerfen. Man kann es auch tiefkuehlen!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">************<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>For a cake dish of approx 20 cm length or two 15 cm diameter Souffle dishes:<\/em><br><em>For the Pate:<\/em><br><em>40 g Butter<\/em><br><em>2 cloves of Garlic, pressed<\/em><br><em>1 small Onion, chopped&nbsp;finely<\/em><br><em>8 Bay Leaves<\/em><br><em>600 g Chicken Liver<\/em><br><em>100 ml Port Wine<\/em><br><em>300 g Butter, cold!<\/em><br><em>Salt and Pepper<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><a href=\"https:\/\/pane-bistecca.com\/2018\/11\/22\/portwein-gelee-port-wine-jelly\/\"><em>1\/2 Jar Port Wine Jelly<\/em><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Melt the 40 g butter in a wide pan, add the garlic, onion and bay leaves. Cook until softened, then add the chicken liver, cut into smaller pieces. Cook for 3 minute, turn it over often. Then add the port wine and let simmer for another 2-3 minutes.<\/em><br><em>Remove the bay leaves and pour the rest into the blender. Add the cold butter, cut into pieces and blend well.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Now you have two possibilities!<\/em><br><em>You can put the pate into a cake dish, but you have to warm up and add the jelly first and let it cool completely in the fridge. Then you can add the pate. When you serve the pate you turn it over onto a plate and the jelly will be on top. This looks very nice.<\/em><br><em>Or you can pour the pate into souffle dishes, let this cool completely and then pour the jelly on top.<\/em><br><em>The pate is perfect with crackers, baguette or toasted bread slices.<\/em><br><em>Enjoy!<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>Tip:<\/em><br><em>The jelly will keep the pate fresh, it acts like a seal. If you pack the pate well into cling-foil it will keep fresh for approx 7 days. If you leave the pate un-refrigerated for a longer time, it can turn dark on the sides. Cut these pieces off and discard them.
