\n During the heat of the summer, I am always trying to find a fresh and refreshing melon salad.\u00a0 \n

\nAnd this summer by accident I put together a salad everybody loved. Even my husband, who would rather bite his lip than give some food a compliment, found it excellent and even said so! I was quite surprised when my simple salad suddenly stood in the limelight!\u00a0\n

    1 green Melon (or Honey Melon)<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    1 Handful Cherry Tomatoes<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    100 g cooked Ham<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    200 g small Mozzarella Balls<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    fresh Basil<\/p><\/li>\n

  • <\/i>

    Juice of a Lemon<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    Salt and Pepper<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    4 tbsp Olive Oil<\/p><\/li>\n\t

  • <\/i>

    2 tbsp cold Water<\/p><\/li>\n\t \n\t \n\t <\/ul>\n\n\t <\/div>\n <\/div>\n \n

    Step 1<\/h4><\/div>\n
    With a melon cutter (or like me, with a core cutter for apples) cut out balls or small parts of the melon.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n

    Step 2<\/h4><\/div>\n
    Cut the cherry tomatoes into halves, cut the mozzarella into halves or quarters, chop the basil leaves and pull the ham apart.\u00a0Mix all ingredients in a bowl.\n<\/div>\n <\/div>\n <\/div>\n
