Also mache ich jedes Jahr ca. 15-20 Sorten Plaetzchen.

And another traditional Christmas cookie recipe!
I like to bake the traditional Christmas cookies, we usually do in Switzerland. But I also try some new recipes. I think, to have always the same is boring. My hubby actually tells me each year „make just the traditional ones“ but then he wants bags full to give away to his friends and clients. The few traditional ones are not enough!
So, each year I make 15-20 different cookies. Some of them don’t make it onto my blog. Not everyone is really worth trying. But this one here is really nice. It’s easy and quick and deliciously crunchy!
Fuer ca 80 Stueck:
500 g Mehl
1 TL Backpulver
230 g Zucker
1 TL Zimt
60 g gemalene Mandeln
250 g kalte Butter, in Stuecke geschnitten
Da steht jetzt „homemade by Wilma“ drauf.

For approx. 80 Pieces:
500 g Flour
1 tsp Baking Powder
230 g Sugar
1 tsp Cinnamon
60 g ground Almond
250 g cold Butter, diced
5 tbsp Milk
Mix the flour with the baking powder, sugar, cinnamon and the ground almond in a bowl. Make an indentation in the middle and add the milk and butter. With a big knife chop the butter into the flour, then knead it quickly together.
Wrap into cling-foil and let cool in the fridge for 2 hours or overnight.
Roll the dough out on a work surface to approx 3-4 mm thickness. I decorated mine with my personalized rolling pin. So, the cookies say „Homemade by Wilma“.
Put the cookies onto a baking tray and bake in the pre-heated oven at 180 C for 15-18 minutes.
